Supporting Broadstairs and Thanet
Helter Skelter is very active in the local community. The owner, Fiona Crawford, is involved in Broadstairs and St Peters Chamber of Commerce, Destination History and the Thanet Coastal Alliance.
We are behind a number of events for the community, aimed at improving the local economy. Earlier this year, Fiona conceived and delivered with a small team, the Big Broadstairs Weekend, which put a film screen on the beach for the first time ever and saw Broadstairs win a place in Guinness World Record history with 882 Dancing Queens along Broadstairs prom. She is behind the town’s Children’s Halloween Disco at the Pavilion and supports the Guy Fawkes event and Christmas Extravaganza event.
We support the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and QEQM Special Babies Unit, and have raised over £1500 so far.
We have supported most of the local schools’ PTFAs with raffle prizes for their events.
